Has anyone Line-X'd, Herculinered or applied Dupont Bedliner to their running boards?

I'm wondering if anyone has done this. I'm thinking of doing it to mine since I'm sick of them fading. If anyone has done this is it worth it, and does it hold up well? Looking forward to some pics also if anyone has any.

Well sure, lots of people have done it. theres even a thread with pictures of someone who pulled out all their interior and did it. I did the same and I can say its holding up well with the herc. although it does not like to stick to plastic. Also I put in about 3-4 coats where feet and cargo always are and only 2 everywhere else. as far as pics...search the threads theres some around theres a few people who have done their whole trucks you can ask them directly for how their running boards are doin.

I painted mine with Krylon Fusion satin black. Cost about $5 at Wal-Mart. Been holding up fine for two years now.

I beg to differ on this statement. How herculiner sticks has everything to do with how the surface is prepped.
The first couple pictures in the thread are where I first had the Herc. Look closely and you can see on the bumper where it is slowly coming off. The Herc was on there for well over a year at that point. Go to post #11 and there are great pictures from when I refinished it. Well worth it in my opinion.
