Hey all. I have a 2001 explorer sport. I am wanting to lift it. I cannot find any lifts or information on 01 Sports specifically, but i find alot of info and stuff on Sport Tracs, and i know Superlift makes a lift for the Sport Trac. Would this Superlift kit work on my sport?

I am wanting enough lift to be able to fit at least 33"s, but i'd like to get up to the level to where i could fit 35"s mounted on my 20" wheels. Thanks.

Super lift makes a lift for 95 - 00 exs too maybe that would work. I know it works for my sport but i have a 99. youd have to call super lift probly.

check superlifts site, teh 4" kit should fit, if it doesn't say call them

Superlift does make it for sure. I already inquired about this a while back.

you inquired about the sport trac lift? Did you inquire whether or not it was compatable on the Sport?

Just called Superlift and they said it would work. Now the question is, Does anyone know if I would run into a problem with the driveshaft lengths for my sport with the 4" lift?

Hey MadKat.

I just helped a friend of mine install the superlift onto his 01 sport three weeks ago, and he needed the longer driveshaft because the old one only went 3/4" into the housing. You need at least 1.5 inches to be safe. Also this was not an easy install, and took us two weekends to complete.

Make sure you have a friend to help you, collect all the tools that you will need ahead of time, and just take your timewith it.
