well guys im going into the army and I kinda need to sell my X. I have 97 explorer with 122000 miles on it, it has a cd/mp3 pioneer deck, 2 10" rockford fosgate, HE"s a one farrod cap, sony 760 amp, 3 inch body lift, new 32x1150 wild country rvt traction tires, a radar detector, 1 inch torsion, billet grille, and mac intake, and rock 15x8 rock crawlers, my question for you guys is how much do u think I should ask for it, kelly blue book says its worth 8500 bone stock so how much more would you guys suggest adding on. and comments would be helpful.

Hey, an X from Oregon. Has to be good. Why sell the X just because you're going into the Army? You know they will ship it where ever you go.

btw: Good looking truck! TO be honest, it might be hard to find someone willing to pay extra for the mods. I'd go with full retail and your mods will be a big selling point. Might even consider taking the stereo out and sell it seperate because few people are willing to pay extra for it.

yeah i know i can ship it where ever i go, i just don't know if i want to pay payments on it while im at bootcamp but i don't know im still pondering the idea of selling it, i was just thinking of asking way to much and if someone is willing to pay then take it but if not no big loss, it would be a shame to get rid of it espically since i just did everything to it.

It's only a few weeks and you'll itch to buy something as soon as you get to your first duty station (trust me, I've done it).

yeah, i acctually have to go 17 weeks, because my ait and basic are all rolled up into one, but ure right all i'll do is just buy something else the moment i am stationed

17 weeks is still quick. Mine was almost a year. Lifted Exploder's in the military are great. Except for the guards at the gate. They always want to stop and talk. Few people have seen them. I'm the only one on this base. Well, there's one with a 2" body lift and street tires and a Bronco II with 31's.
