Having issues with engine turning off and not restarting. Please help!!!!

i have a 97 Ranger 2.3L that turns off and then won't restart. It doesn't act like its running out of gas it just shuts down. I can let it sit for a while and then it will start with no problem and then go thru this again. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. This one is about to drive me crazy!!!!

Any KOEO or KOER codes? Does it shut off when engine is warm or cold? Have you checked when it won't start, if it has spark and fuel pressure?
