I own an Explorer circa 2000, V6 engine, non 4 wheel drive, and i love it, but i am having one problem, the cruise control wont work, is there any way to fix it? I push the button to turn it on, and nothing lights up, it just does nothing. any help would be appreciated

also does anyone know where to find the number to the keypad on the door?

First check fuse and relay, then ccs on steering wheel, then cruise control servo next to the washer fluid reservoir. I had to have the Servo replaced right after I bought my X under warrenty. There was an ONP from Ford on this as I remember. The PATs number is behind the quarter panal where your jack is. There should be a gray box if I remember correctly. The number will be on that module.

Just based on how you said it, the cruise control problem might just be how you're turning it on. You have to press the "On" button on the steering wheel, and then the "Set" button. If it's anything like the next generation of Explorers, the On button is on the left side, and the set button on the right side of the wheel.

Sorry if you were doing this, I'm just hoping it's something as simple as that. :)
