1997 4x4 SPORT TRACK
I currently own a 97 4X4 Sport Track. And recently noticed a noise in my front suspension almost like a basketball dribbling in the passenger side wheel. My first thought was that it maybe a tire out of balance. That was not the cure. A friend of mine who is a offline assembly tech for freightliner corp. Took a look at it and noticed a bad shock. So we changed it out. All of the rest of the front suspension components seem to be in fine working order. But unfortunately after we changed the front shocks that was not the cure either. But all of a sudden it seemed as almost the front hubs were locked in. And now when going down the road it seems like a tierod is going bad. Pulling hard to the right. And can pull over and it goes away. FUBARRED HERE  Any suggestions? :exp:

grab the tire from the top and bottom and pull in and out. If there is play its in the ball joints, so replace. Do the same thing, from the side, note: there will be play but notice if there is any play in the tie rod when doing this. If its the same going all around the wheel and there is little bit of play, its the bearings.
