Has anyone experienced what feels like the front suspension topping out after cranking the front up just less than 2"?

Mine seems to top out when pulling into the drive way (due to a HUGE curb at the entrance, with the Stangs, I have to pull or back in at an angle or it drags the bottom across the concrete!), or driving over a decent "dip" at freeway speeds. Rebound is fine, just when it jounced, it feels like the suspension runs out of travel and it abrubtly stops and results in a harsh jolt.

The truck has 245/75/16's on it with no other suspension mods than TT, and 2" rear shackles. Is the front travel limited by the shocks or bump stops?

Are there extended shocks that will fix this?

It's not a HUGE issue, it's just annoying having to CRAWL into the driveway when driving a 4WD truck!

This is a pic of it after the TT, shackles and tires...

This was the "before" pic, and you can see the curb in the background...

Thanks in advance for any info.

That's what happens when you crank the torsion bars. When I measured mine stock, I had less than 3" of droop in front. If I were to crank 2" higher, I would top out going over a sewer drain.
Now you know why people like me tell you not to crank the torsion bars.
The shocks are short because the CV joints will bind with only a little more droop. Your best bet is to call camburg engineering about a "ranger 4x4 upgrade". It's a set of bilstien 7100 shocks with reserviors, shock adapter plates and limit straps. Should drastically improve the ride, and give an extra inch or two of droop. Unfortunately it's about $500 for the parts from them.
Or you can just lower the thing back to stock height, and buy limit straps to help smooth it out.

If you can find shock extenders that will help. I made my own for the Rancho shocks I am running on the fronts. I was having trouble getting the correct thread pitch thats why i made my own. I bought rancho shocks that were longer for the rear. If you go to Ranchos website you can download the catalog. It takes some time to find the right ones but they have them for the rears.
