I just load a cd into the sony radio but I can not eject it. this botton which is touch sensitive seems not to be working, the same occur with the hazard lights botom no matter how long or how hard I pressed this botton light do not tunr on, however is I press panic on fob key...hazard light start blinking therefore I think problem should be the touch botton.

Sounds like a bad control panel. Since it was CPO take it back.

I can not take it back :-( I brought the vehicle to dominican republic, can you tell me part number and how can I replace it my self.
thank you

Make sure when "pressing" the flasher button that your finger gets into the depression.

The button is not surface mounted.

Is there no dealer there? My guess is the panel is bad. Without diagnosing it you would be just throwing parts at it and possibly wasting your money. Replacement of that panel also requires the dealer to program it for your vehicle.

Yes, I had this exact same issue. It had the older trim part around the display like his with the touch eject button and touch hazard lights. They replaced the entire piece with the newer version with an actual hazard button and the eject touch button on the other side.

hazard lights and cd touch button not working

Thank you all for your help..I really appreciate ..one question there is a way to manually eject the cd. Without using the touch button..?

a have a 2011 explorer ltd. the hazard and cd eject touch button are not working.
I checked the panel with a technician unfortunately these buttons can not be repaired I need to replace the entire front panel. I found one on ebay for $250 but it is for a 2013 explorer LTD, mine is 2011, my question is.
Do you know if panel from a 2013 explorer will fit into my 2011 explorer...? I suppouse after instalation I have to take the vehicle to a FORD dealer for programming..
thanks in advance !!

It should As there were no changes in this area between years.

I am going to edit my post....

I have access to the OEM Factory SM for your vehicle. I looked up the process for replacing the FCIM (thats the panel you want to replace) in the 2011 Explorer. It does not require a PMI (programmable module replacement) process. I would find out the full part number for the panel you currently have and search for it by that rather than guess if ones from other years will work.

I had the same problem with my 2003 Ford Explorer when my new Ed Sheeran CD got stuck and would not eject. I pulled the CD/radio unit out and disconnected it. When I reconnected it the CD popped out. You might be able to get the same result by disconnecting the fuse.

You realize that thread is almost 2 years old? Lol.. woken back from the dead.

Welcome to the forum

Anyone ever had the issue of the hazard and cd eject not working?

Go to ebay and search "bb5t-18a802 explorer"

18A802 is the base part number and BB5T would be 2011 model units.

^^ Your thread was merged with this existing one found using the Forum's 'Search' feature.
Did both stop working at the same time? Do the turn signals work? Does the radio detect the CD that is loaded and are you able to play it?
Here is another thread; Hazard Button Not working
