For the main headlight there are 3 studs holding it into the truck with clips and nuts I believe. I didn't know how they were held in until I went to take one out and I figured it out in about 30 seconds. Just take a look!

This forum is a great resource for hints, tricks, and helpful information..................but it will never be a substitute for a service manual.

If you don't have a service manual, get one. It is a REQUIREMENT for working on your truck.

i just wanted to know the viniger thing, i i have taken the head light assm. off too many times to count. furthermore i do not think anyone in my neighbor hood will ever by a ford Explorer because of the Sea Foam incident, of the fact that i work full time, go to college f/t, and the rest of the time i am in my underwear over, in, or under my truck uselly cusering.

i myself would like to kno about the vinegar thing too,

my car's headlights are yellowed
