I check both head lamps and they were blown out. Here is how it went down:

Headlamps
I started by checking and replacing the passenger side bulb. It had shown a blown out filament. When I replaced it with a new bulb, the driver's side lamp came back on, but the passenger side (the one I changed) remained out. I decided to drive for a while with one headlight that way. Today, the driver's side was out too. I re-checked the passenger side bulb, it is still good, no broken filament. I then checked the driver's side bulb, it had a broken filament. I replaced the driver's side bulb, and now, neither side operates. I can still use the brights, however, by using the stick. I can't get anything but the yellow lights to work using the knob on the left dashboard.

Fuses

I also checked what were the 4 and 8 (left and right lamp) fuses in the side panel. Both looked good, but I replaced one with the provided replacement anyway. After that, still no lights on either side.

What should I try next? Is there anything else that could be simple maintenance?

Hm.... if you know the wiring and relays well enough... test em out... see if that's your problem.... if the harness n relays are good to go.. my next guess would be the multi function switch.. (The stick you mess with to use highs n lows, turn signals.. ect)

Nooo! Omg, did you even read my post?.. We can help you figure this out.. it's not as mysterious and complicated as you think it is. You need a $3 test light so you can test circuits.

Its most likely a LOM problem... millions of posts.... some fix, some replace, some have extra money to burn and take it to a dealer.

Ok, It was checked by a mechanic, and he says a module or two is likely bad, but he won't answer my questions. Therefore, he might be a crook, so I'm ditching him. I need to learn how to check the relays. Any good diagrams you guys know of? I am completely clueless.

The driver's side headlight comes on and off randomly. Some nights it is on, some not. I have no idea what this indicates.

I wish I had all my diagrams n whatnot but I lost them... uh.. do you have a chiltons or haynes manual? that'll give ya the place of the light relays in the box under the hood..

On a side note, my low beams wouldn't come on but that's because on of my wires on my custom harness snapped. Anyway it could also be wiring?

Possibly fixed it. It was the lamp out module. I pressed the connector to it, and they (low beams) came on, and haven't gone off. Someone said tap the module, and if it is a bad connection it will flicker. Well, my results are a godsend, after some mechanic wanted to charge me $400+ dollars. Hopefully, this is the end of the problem for a while. Thanks a bunch to this forum.
