Hello,

I have a 99 XLT with some grainy looking headlights. Before I broke down and bought one of those restoration kits, I took a look at the clear corners since it might not be a bad time to mod. :D I'm not a huge fan of the full clear corners on assemblies that are two pieces. Unless it's one light housing like the 3rd generations, it doesn't look right to me. But I didn't stumble across these "Euro Lights" on eBay:

I was wondering if anyone's purchased or seen these before? I guess I'm just trying to justify the price. But those headlight kits are 40 to 60 for the Diamondlite/ Wolfgang ones.

Aside from the headlights, I'm not crazy about having orange on my tail lights. I was wondering if I could swap a set of all red tail lights from an '01 Sport directly into this '99?

Thanks for any advice!

Booty Do:
Find some Testors transparent red model spray paint and tint the orange portion on your taillights red. Those Sport taillights will NOT fit on your '99. Completely different body style, etc. As far as the Diamond headlights/corners, that's a very common mod on this website. Myself along with hundred of others have them installed. They look great and take about 10 years off the front of your truck if you've got an old rig like mine. (1997 XLT). I've had my Diamonds installed since 2005 and they still look brand new. Good luck!
