I was wondering if there is a headunit out there that can power these speakers with out a amp. poop college student so if i dont have to spend the money i dont want to. I dont want to get a sub or anything like that, most of the stuff i listen to is country so deep bass in not important

you arent going to find a head unit that is pushing 50w rms of power without spending a huge amount of money.......

well what kind of options do i have, remember i dont want to spend a lot of money, i know the JL is not cheap, but that is what i want because i think it is the best. and remember no need for a sub

you probably could get by without an external amp,but I would bet you won't be getting the most from the JL's......

I've got a set of JL's coming on Thursday !!

don't know your budget ?,but the XR series comes with crossovers !!

not really intrested in the crossovers, the real reason is i blew out one of my stock speakers, this makes the perfect time for an upgrade.

I have those in my back doors running off my eclipse deck. just get an Eclipse 2 go with it they are By far and above the best decks i have ever had. I wont ever buy another non eclipse deck.
