Headlamps

I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer, just curious to know if the headlamps from a 2000 Ford Explorer are any different? I'm looking at these:

yes they are different. Buy what is specially made for your truck. Look at the front end of a mountaineer then an explorer- youll see the difference

Yea, it was only the (95?) to 97' Mountys with the same headlight housing as the Expo, then they switched to the side by side style.

'96 was the first Mounty year.

The '96 and '97 had Ex Headlights and specific grilles.

'98 Mounty saw the first year of the completely different header panel behind the headlights, headlight assembly and grille:
