headlight issue

I have this problem with both my 1997 and 1999 explorer. My headlights come on and flicker although the switch is off then turn off after a while. Is it a relay or switch problem? Thanks

does your truck have a DLR (daytime running lights) module? if so, these modules often go bad and cause headlight problems. it's located in the console.

I dont have the daytime running lights. The interior lights come on also same as if you turned the headlight switch on except the switch is off. Im guessing its either a bad switch or relay
