Well i just discovered that my headlights don't come on. but when i turn the high beams on they do. the parking lights are on and the fogs are as well. i cheaked all the fuses and they work as well. they were both working last night. did i blow both bulbs? or is there something i missed?

Since your hi beams work, I don't think the bulbs are blown. You might have a short somewhere.

fuses?

And yes, you can blow one filament (low) and not the other (high).

So I'd check all my fuses and then try replacing one bulb. It is possible both went out at the same time.

Do you have a message center or an auto-dimming mirror?

You should be able to rule out the headlight switch and dimmer switch since the foglights are working.

I'd recheck those fuses just to be sure. If none are blown, try one bulb like Alec suggested.

Davo doesn't have the message center nor autolamp. The fog lights work is because we ran a wire from the relay to the parking light circuit last year.

Could it be one of the relays?? Or maybe the multifunction lever (turn signal stalk)??

i replace the stock with the PIAA ones. i'll try changing the bulbs out if i knew how it. do i just unscrew the bulb or it a pull stiuation?

It would be very odd that both headlights would burn out at the same time. But check them just to make sure.

Well since the wiring has been changed, it could be the dimmer switch.

Ironically enough mine just went out yesterday (Sat), mine was the multi-function switch. The lights didnt work but the parking lights did, the high beams wouldnt work but if i held the flash to pass function on the multi-function switch they did. I pulled it apart and that was the culprit. if you have any questions let me know.

no it's not, we have another thread going on this right now.

how do i get the bulbs out?

i got the stock bulbs that work to cheak them with. i just need to know how to get them ones in there right now out to cheak them.

There is a collar you twist off to expose the connection.
Pull the bulb out the get a little screw driver to lift the connection tabs. Room and acess are the only factor.

When you put in the new bulbs be carefule to NOT touch the bulb it's self.

hey i just made a thread about this same thing

the other night both of my low beams went out,

the parking lights and high beams worked fine,

i changed the bulbs and the work fine now

very coincidental that both lows went out at the same time

Well I looked at the head lights tonight and took the bulbs out. They were blown. Both of them. I went and bought Silver Stars. They went in easy and are bright. Thanks guys for all your input.
