I think you use the orginal wiring and it fits right in. except for the halo rings you need some extra wiring. I'm looking at similar units only chrome.
 






A good idea at this point might be to go with HID's in the low beam.
The bulb's are h1.
Just search 'hid h1' on ebay.
Only thing is, you will also need to purchase/manufacture a relay wiring harness as the stock wiring harness will give you grief (I found out the hard way).

As for lighting, the hid's are pretty awesome.
 






Lots of us have these (including me). Search the archives for a multitude of threads. If I can install them, anyone can.
 






So these Spyders are a direct bolt replacement that utilizes halogen bulbs but can be upgraded to hid?

What kind of relay harness is needed and can you provide a link?
