ok serously i need to get that switch off to fix it so i can go to work still.

You should invest in a Haynes manual. They showed very detailed pics on how to remove the headlight switch. I remember it was a PITA to get to.

Also do a search. I remember posting something about that a couple of years ago.

tried searching but came up with ****. what is this manual you speak of, is it on line

You can the a Haynes Manuel at Auto Zone or proablably any other good autoparts store. It's really really good.
You MIGHT be able to find some info at the autozone website about replacing the headlight switch, they've had directions for a few problems i've had. Good luck.

Later
CP :)

I'll try to search for the thread. I'll post a link later.

The manual is available at any auto parts store. It's $11 and has literally everything about the truck. It's a great investment!! :)

thanks for the help. i really needed it:)

Well...I guess Rick or the mods deleted the threads. I guess it was a very very old thread. I don't have the manual with me right now and it's getting very late for me so I'm going to bed. I'm pretty sure someone on here will give you directions. If not, I'll try my best to find some time and get the Haynes manual and type up the directions. I'll be having a very busy day tomorrow so I can't gaurantee anything. Heh...you're better off by buying the Haynes manual. I promise you, it'll be the best $11 you've ever spent. :) Good luck!!

thanks for what you have done so far. i can hit auto zone and find a manual on it.
