Headlights Won't Come On When Security System Is Disarmed

My son recently had a front end collision in our 2007 Explorer. We have noticed that the headlights no longer come on at night when the key fob disarms the security system. The parking lights come on, but the headlights no longer come on

The headlights operate normally otherwise.

Any ideas.

On my 2007, when the FOB disarms the alarm (unlocks the doors at night) The fog lights NOT the headlights illuminate (whether the fog light switch is on or off) Then they either go off or stay on (at night) depending how the switch is set.
