Just started tonight on my 94' Eddie Bauer. I went to turn the headlights off and they will not go off. I tried pulling negative and resetting everything but nothing works. Right now I have the battery disconnected so it doesn't die. Any idea on how to fix this or where I should start? By the way it has the autodim feature but I don't use it. Could this have gone bad and it is causing the headlights to stay on? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! I see that you are new here. Try to put it on manual, instead of autodim, and see if that helps. Do you have an alarm system that uses a relay for your headlights? That may be the problem. Try pulling that fuse, or relay and see if it helps.

It is on manual. Doesn't help. I did install my alarm/remote start about a month ago, but I don't use the headlights just the parking lights. I forgot the mention the parking lights are also stuck on. Maybe the switch is busted. Its late and raining now, but hopefully in the morning I can tackle this and get it resolved. Thanks for the quick reply.

It's also raining here in NY. One thing to check is that switch for a short. It seems unlikely though, since they seem to last a very long time. You mentioned that the parking lights are also on, and the alarm system is connected to the parking lights. The alarm is also a month old. Maybe it might be related. If you unplug the switch, and still have that problem, then it has to be the alarm relay.
