I am fixing to acquire a 99 Explorer that needs some interior work. The biggest chore of the interior will be a headliner. Right now as it stands it does not have one at all and I do not know if the person has the shell or if I will have to pull one at the junk yard. Either way I assume I will have to put new fabric on it.
My question is can I use different types of fabric other than the auto fabric I have seen here? I could get some foam back if that is an issue. I just wanted to do someting different than what I see in most vehicles.
Other than that how hard is it to put one in? It would be me and my husband putting it in.
