Alright im looking to purchase some headrest monitors in the next couple days and need some opinions/reccomendations. Im not opposed to buying just the monitors and cutting up my headrests, but if I go that route I want it to be something nice and Im kind of on a budget. So for the time being im kind of leaning towards universal headrest with the monitors installed so that I can sell them later if I dont like them(going on a trip in a couple weeks and need to entertain the backseat riders). This is what I have found so far audiovox MM92HRT http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AUDIOVOX-MM...s=65:15|66:2|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50, audiovox MMD7HRPKG http://cgi.ebay.com/2-NEW-AUDIOVOX-...s=65:15|66:2|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50, and last power acoustic HD-7BG http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-POWER-ACOUS...34.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=|301:1|293:1|294:30. Im leaning towards the first one as its a 9" screen, made by a pretty good company, and is the best deal(normally $350 a headest). These are just the ones I found for an affordable price and im totally open for other modles/brands. Thanks in advance.

Im going to bump this as I want to purchase them today or tomorrow but really dont know if the ones I posted are good. Should I wait and save up a couple hundred more and get alpine monitors then install them in my stock headrests?

Wish i had an answer for you. I like the ones on the first link. I'm looking at the MMD7HRPKG myself. What did you decide on?

Still havent purchased anything, as I cant make up my mind if i want to cut up my headrests or not. Still leaning towards the first link as they are bigger monitors and I dont need a dvd player built in because my headunit has one and I will have ps2 slim in the back.

I don't have a player yet, so i like the all in one package too. Let me know which way you go.

I have always been a fan of these type of "drop-in" units. This way when you get rid of your vehicle you can simply take them out and put the stock ones back in. I did ones that i cut in, in a pervious vehicle and i had to just leave them in due to the cost of new headrests at the time.

That is a good idea, haven't thought about that.
