Was having some issues with misfires last week, pulled codes and decided to replace the IAC valve. Seemed to improve the situation a bit, but didn't fix it.
When I was leaving work today, when I shifted into second, it felt like the engine was having an epileptic seizure. Out of frustration and anger I threw it into neutral and slammed the brakes, and it died. It also died when I went to back into my parking spot at home.
On another note, after installing my IAC valve, the engine Idles (while coasting in neutral) at about 1800 - 2000 RPM, this was not an issue before.
Could a bad VSS cause this? The VSS was in question, but I decided not to investigate it further, now I'm wondering if it is worth investigating.
