I just cleaned my IAC and im getting that problem ive read about on here about having to give your vehicle gas for it to stay running. I was told i should just replace the IAC. Where is the best place to purchase one. I saw someone say something about o'reilly's, but ive never heard of that in florida. Any Help?

Thanks

I forgot to mention that i did not remove the IAC when i cleaned it, big mistake. I just removed the cap, and sprayed carb cleaner into the hole. Could i have done any permanent damage to other parts in my truck?

You shouldn't have done any damage to any other parts, just let it dry out completely before replacing the black cap. The hole is a vent for the piston that moves back and forth to regulate the bypass air.

Here is a thread on cleaning the IAC:
