Heat controls/ HOT

I am having a problem with my heating controls. I can not adjust the tempature. No matter what the dial is set for the heat comes out scorcing hot, unless the AC dial is set for max. No matter where on the Temp dial it is set the air is hot enough that I turn it on for a few minutes till the inside gets hot then I turn it off...Not very confortable. Plus the A\C only works on High. The Normal A/C setting only blows hot air

Has any one ever had this problem...

Do a search on blend doors. There is a thread just above this one. I am going have to attack it some day as mine is doing exactly what yours is.

I think on Thanksgiving weekend I am going to now jump into the Blend door issue...

I was reading on the web about this and this one web site said that I should replace the complete heater box. SHould I do this or what...
