Mine are dead, according to the OBDII sensor and other information I've read..

* On start, it idles high (1200rpm) for about 10 seconds and then settles down a bit
* Gas mileage has gone WAY down. Ugh..
* Feels like it's a lot "weaker" - less horsepower, etc.

I have 2 new Bosch O2 sensors to install, but I can't find an easy way to get to the wiring for them. It's WAY up there and I can't get to it.

Have any of you replaced the O2 sensors yourself? Any easy way to get it done? My arms aren't *that* thick, but I just can't manage to reach the wiring clips. :(

reach through the wheel well

on my 92 i have 1 O2 sensor, and its harness is right next to the passenger-side valve cover.

i just about an hour ago swapped out the one on our 96, 0141 bank 1 , sensor 2 ... seriously took me like 5 minutes after i got the right part and a long screwdriver and a 22mm wrench and a can of pb blaster

Hrm, cool. Mine's a 1994.. according to the Chilton's guide, I have 2 of them.. I don't know which one is bad, but as far as I know, neither of them have ever been replaced. I figured that I'd go ahead and replace both. ;)

Thanks for the reply!

ummmm you have an obd2 computer?!

it's just a code reader that I got at Kragen's a few weeks ago. :)

I think it's OBD-I... it wasn't too costly..
