So I think this is a relatively common problem, you turn on the heat seat, and you can’t turn it off. This is a failing switch problem.

The switches are readily available from a number of sources, search for part number DS-3004. But try this first…rather than just pressing the switch to turn it off, stab it. It works on mine…a firm stab. Now, that may only work for awhile, but at least it will keep you going until you find a permanent solution. Or maybe it will last a long while. I bought new switches because I don’t want my wife having to futz with it.

Also, I see all sorts of advice saying you have to remove the side control panel on the seat to remove the switch…no…save yourself the trouble. If you have the power seat, raise it up all the way, you can get your hand in there and compress one of the metal spring tabs that hold the switch in and push it through the plastic panel.

This may not be new info, but I didn’t find it spelled out like this, so I thought I’d offer it up.

Let me know if any of you all need more detail.
