Took my 98 XLT to the brilliant mechanics at Ford on Tuesday. They replaced my water pump, belts, tensioner and flushed the chocolate looking collant out and refilled it. Picked it up this morning (Thursday) and realized that after driving for about 40 minutes or so with the heater on full blast, I was only getting lukewarm heat, and that was when I was rolling along at a 70 - 75mph clip. My heat was working fine before the Ford mechanics got a hold of my truck!! What could've happened with them replacing my water pump and flushing my system that would cause this? I want to be able to do something on my own, because at this point, I truly beleive that I can guess just as good as the Ford mis-chanics.
