Heater problem

Good day members;i am having a problem with my 1995 fORD EXPLORER EDDIE BUAUER EDITION,my heater is pushing out cold air instead of warm heat ,but the A/C IS working fine,its now winter time and i need some help please is there a way to fix this myself ?

Is your temperature gauge showing the normal heat range?

I have a similar issue with my heater, it will blow out warm (never hot) air after about 5 miles. My temperature gauge only goes about half way to normal. My thermostat is bad, but it's too cold outside right now to deal with it.
