heater ticking

alright a while back my heater started ticking when i would turn the heat all the way on hot. if I just backed it off hot a little bit it was fine. more recently it quit blowing any hot air at all and it ticks anytime I get close to turning it on hot. it kinda sounds like a blend door but I have no clue how to get to it.

I was having this problem turning it on cold on full blast, but after a while mine went away. I've come to find that if noobdy responds to your thread then that means you can search for it and find it in the other forums.

I figured out what was wrong; the blend door was not moving because the gears in the actuator were broke. This would be a really easy job to do except you have to tear the whole dash off. if anyone has this problem you can email me and I will try to assist you as much as possible. thethirdmurph@yahoo.com
