Heater valve

I have a 99 ford explorer sport. It quite heating looking for heater controll valve not by the fire wall as other fords. any help. has dial for heat or a/c no slide controll.

Welcome to the board.
I think it's all electronic controlled.Could be the EATC module,or the inside air temp. sensor,or the motor on the door that switches between the hot/cold air flow.
One of the guys from the 1995-2001 stock forum would know more about it than me.You might search the threads there and see if there's anything that might help you, if not you could ask them.
