Heating/ cooling

hey everyone i have a 2000 Explorer Limited with the electronic climate control, i can set it to as hot as it goes but as soon as i drop it degree it goes completely cold i cannot have anything in between just cold or hot, anyone know what this is?

Try doing a search for the blend door issue. That might get you closer to the direction you are looking for. Good luck.
