Any one use them on their truck? My Explorer keeps eating sway bar links of all makes, and thinking about just using hyme joints in stead.

FYI: You'll have much better luck searching for info on them if you spell it properly. It's spelled "Heim"

And yes, Heim joints (spherical rod ends) are very common on modified/offroad/racing vehicles of all kinds. They are typically very strong. However, they can be very expensive, depending on size and quality.

Search the forum and the web for heim joints and spherical rod ends. Chek out manufacturers websites- many of them will have great technical/product info. The information is out there; you just have to look for it.
