hello all new need help

Not sure if this is my vehicle thread. I have a 04 explorer. No trim markings so Im guessing base model. Has auto 4x4. 4.0 v6. Having issues with catalytic converters I've seen several threads with different cat counts. It appears I have 2 inline by manifolds and the 3rd is near muffler. Or 1 by muffler and 2 preheaters near manifold. I dont have exhaust experience so what do i have

You have 2 catalytic converters, one on either side, extending from each bank of cylinder's exhaust manifolds. The outlet pipes of the cats meet together via a cross-over pipe, converging to one pipe on the driver side, extending rearward above the transmission crossmember support. That pipe enters the muffler, which is twice the size of either cat. The tailpipe emerges from the muffler.

What sort of cat problems seem to be present? imp
