Just bought a 2002 ford explorer eddie bauer just in the last week having lots of electric problems started with heater use to come on when you start the truck then it was coming on but like it lost its memory ...when you start the truck next the power seat button will not work then tonight i went to get in i started it and the day time running lights didnt come on....can anyone give me idea what might be causing it??????thanks all seems like a awsome sight...... It could be a bad fuse panel. It is rare, but does happen.
 






I will have my husband check that today it is just odd that different items keep messing up that why i thought maybe someone here had a suggestion ....love the explorer so would like to figure it out but i live in a small town and it is very expensive here to go to a garagespecially if it is simply they try to cover your eyes...lol thanks alot i will check that out and let you know if it helps...Hannnah

For your heater, make sure the green light above the AUTO button isn't on. Select the defrost button or the vent button. The AUTO feature won't turn on until the truck has built up some heat in the engine.

As for your seats, is the heater that doesn't work or the power adjusting mechanism?
