Im new here and i would love some helpfull information about my truck/parts



ive got a 98 explorer sport and im looking to lift it a little and i need to know the best/cheapest way to do it

Torsion Bar Twist and shackle lift..you can buy a shackle lift at any auto parts store for under $20. or you can make your own shackles. up to u.

but i do suggest after you tighten your torsion bars i would get an alignment done..maybe not right away, but soon

anyway i been researching and i decided to try making a shackle at my workplace http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/262618_392622790822734_1342907165_n.jpg the thickness is 1/4 i hear thats an ok thickness i was wondering if your schackles looked anything like this? would this work>?

heres what im working with i just want to level the rear and maybe do a TT but not sure yet
