Hello,
I just stumbled across this forum while trying to find some info on the explorer. I purchased my first explorer this October, after eyeing one up for years. I made the plunge and got a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport, all of the options I could find.
I mainly jumped on to see how others with the 2016 sport fared in the snow. I live in Ellicott City, MD (about 15 minutes south of Baltimore). During the blizzard, I didn't get a chance to get out, as it was just too deep. by the time I could, all of the roads were essentially plowed. I worry that the tires that came with the explorer aren't really going to cut it for deeper snow driving, but should be ok in mid to light snow.
Anyway, Thanks for letting me tell my quick story. I look forward to the wealth of knowledge on the site, and anything that could improve my driving experience. So far, I'm still in love with her like the day I took it off the lot.
