Hello I am Ralph I am from Indiana, I stumbled up on a 1997 Ford Explorer XLT about a year ago and I really like it, the 5.0 has been a engine that I had always loved the sound of on a mustang so that was a +1 I have three children so the thought of a SUV was very pleasurable to the mind another +1. The vehicle is also AWD!!! Took the cake I was so happy that we had a little mini blizzard last winter and I had my Explorer it performed excellent all but one day. it was -12 out it and just didn't want to start. I have never had a problem with it since. So what bring me here is to meet people that have done and know what needs to be done to this SUV to make it run stronger then it does maybe cheap ways to lift it up??? IDK..
