Just got a 96 2 door 4.0, V6 4X4 Explorer. And I also bought a 99 4 door ($100)
I couldn't resist. It has at least two GOOD tires on it and the spare is brand new, still has the little rubber nubbies. I figured the tires alone were worth a 100. My lil red needs a few parts like the roof rack is only half there, rear wiper etc. So I thought this was a great parts car. Now my son says "don't start tearing it apart yet, let's see if it can be a runner first" so....
Here I am waiting for him to have time to check it out.
I wanted to just shelve my shed out back, take the parts car down to the frame and stock the parts that are useable and save myself from having to order parts for a while.
Anyway, that's the beginning of my exploring Ford story so far...
Probably see me here a lot for a while until one or both are dialed in. Then I'll be too busy out trying to break them.
