Hello to all I'm new here and have been offered a 97 ford explorer for $500.00
It has low mileage but it seems to be stuck in 4 low any help from people on would be great thanks

The electric shift motor probably went bad. You can remove the motor from the back of the transfer case and turn the shaft into any range you desire with a vicegrip . I hope that's all it is. It would be a great find.

Hello i am a new member ----could not locate the thread button to post - I am going to look at
1993 Class 'B' Falcon 19' RV / Motorhome - its on craigslist and the owner said it needs a fuel pump because I do not know anything. Just wanted to get a feeling here about it and I have no idea if the price is good, the van is in Fairfield and I am in NYC, thanking you in advance for anything you might tell me

Do I need to put t case in to a certain gear before installing shift motor
