Just wanted to say hello and hope to give and receive helpful info on our explorers. Well I am a now disabled Ind. Maintenance Tech. From waynesville, nc. I worked my whole career in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. Last of which was Dana Spicer axle in Burlington,NC. Enough said on that. Until recently I had been wheeling my 89 B2 that I had for 8 years. Finally I had to upgrade and so I now have a Gen 1 explorer I am very happy with. I swapped over my 4" suspension lift and my Rims with 285/75-16 dick cepek extreme countries along with other upgrades I had on the B2. I use my truck daily and when the notion hits me I push the 4 hi button and away from civilization I go. I enjoy getting lost in the mountains here and do quite often.
