Hi there Im a old timer when it comes to forums however im new to this one, most of the time I read the electronics forums. Im here because I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and it is a rust bucket but I just love it to death and last night it started leaking coolant up near the heater core and I believe it is one of the metal lines that must come from the top of the engine. So im here to do some research and find a simple solution (I hope) so I will search the treads and see if I can find what im looking for before I post a new thread. I would like to thank the Guys who run and moderate this forum because they are one of the best resources for information.

It is a 5.0 I checked the oil and it is clean ... Thanks

Ok Guys I got my problem fixed thanks to this wounderful forum, I was able to identified the part name that I was looking for it was the called the coolant cross over tube.... so thanks to you guys my Mercury Mountaineer is back on the road.
