The other thing I would suggest, and it may sound strange, is a school bus style rearview mirror mounted at the back facing forward. With a rear facing seat, your kids in the back are very likely to want to turn around so they can be involved with what's going on in the vehicle. That pretty much eliminates the safety factor. If they can see while stilll strapped in, they'd be less likely to turn around. Just a thought.
