Hello Everybody (I am glad I found you!)

The other thing I would suggest, and it may sound strange, is a school bus style rearview mirror mounted at the back facing forward. With a rear facing seat, your kids in the back are very likely to want to turn around so they can be involved with what's going on in the vehicle. That pretty much eliminates the safety factor. If they can see while stilll strapped in, they'd be less likely to turn around. Just a thought.

Wow, Long time no see! I got busy with all the mom stuff that goes with four kids and now nearly three years later, my kiddos are thankfully past the point of needing to be entertained in the car...they welcome a good nap! We still don't have that rear facing seat or enough seats for all six of us and it hasn't been a problem since the three oldest are all more than willing to call dibs on staying home...they use to yell "SHOTGUN" now its all but the youngest wanting to stay home alone. However, I still want that seat and am pretty sure that it is designed for kids but would I be stupid to get it anyway?
