I thought I'd drop in and say hello and tell you a bit about myself.
I have been a Ford girl since I learned to drive. I remember wanting my first vehicle to be a Ford truck but unfortunately that's not what my parents had in mind. I didn't get my first Ford until my hubby bought me an '84 Mustang many years ago. I got my first 1994 Explorer XL almost nine years ago and LOVED it; she was my baby. Four years ago during icy weather she got hit and the insurance company totalled it but I bought her back and fixed the damage. About three and a half weeks ago while parked at home she got hit by a hit and run driver (thankfully I was able to get a tag number) and totalled, again. This time the damage was too severe to consider doing a buy-back so I had no choice but to let her go. I knew immediately I wanted nothing other than a Ford Explorer. After searching for over three weeks I finally found one that was not trashed out that I could afford; this time I got a '94 Ford Explorer XLT. She has a few issues that we will have to get repaired but considering she is 17 years old and only has 81,000 original miles we were willing to deal with the issues.
