Hello from the Motor City!

Brand new Ford guy here. I've been a GM person my whole life...Today I took delivery of my first Ford product...A 2003 Explorer Limited in a pearl white color. So far I love this truck!

My previous truck was a 97 GMC Jimmy. I traded it in with 98k miles...The Jimmy wasn't reliable for me anymore as I had put it through lots of use.

I hope to learn a lot from here, as I am brand new to the Ford world. I come from the GM S-Series crowd...So if anyone has questions about an S-Series, I can probably help you out!

I used to work at a machine shop and R&D with forced induction/nitrous in the Detroit area, mostly specializing with S-Series trucks though. I moved on to a different career since then.

Those pearl colors are Sweet and Tricky on the eyes! I had a 98 Ranger Ext.Cab. 4x4 with the color of Bright Amber Pearl..There are certain times of the day where the sun is just right and you just have to STARE at it!!!
