- 2005 Exporer. 4.0 Liter
Hello, I am working on a 2005 Explorer. It is the 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. I am just about ready to shoot holes in it. I am trying to replace the heater core in it. I know most heater cores are a bear to do but this one is killing me. I am stuck on one little screw that holds the dash panel in place. It is the the one on the top all the way to the drivers side. I just can not reach it. I know this is not the place to ask how to get to it but I figured I would introduce myself and my frustrations here. I will ask how to get to it in the proper place. Other than that, it is nice to meet yall. I reckon I will kick back for a moment, enjoy a Lone Star and chill out for a moment.
P.S. I do have the Hayes manual for the vehicle.
