Name is James - picked up a 94 xlt a few years ago from a friend. Got a tip on the smog fail / fuel tank filler tube repair from here and since I plan on keeping her rolling (Jessie!) I thought I would join in the discussion. Jessie is on her 2nd motor and 3rd trans (406873 miles) and is slowly having each part replaced or repaired.
Recently the headlights have begun to randomly switch on and off (testing alt Monday =) and Left turn signal and brake light have stopped functioning, but running light works.
Anyways, just saying hello and look forward to sharing DIY tips as I come across the need.
