Hello from the Hide

Hey guys, it's awesome to be a member now. I am building a bone stock 2000 Eddie Bauer 4.0L 4dr 4x4 that the wife and I have had since it was new. It has given us years of trouble free family travels, I really can't say enough great things about it. However it is getting a little age and we have all upgraded our daily drivers so I checked the comps in my area to consider letting her go but after seeing what they are selling for I will just mod her out and keep it as a hunting, fishing, playing in the snow with the wife rig. I am having some trouble finding any sizable suspension lifts available. So I find myself at the fab something, straight axle swap or .... crossroads and before I make any decisions I thought I would come here and seek the wisdom of Explorer masters for inspiration and direction. In all seriousness it is great to be here and I am sure I will learn a lot from the forum members and I look forward to the project ahead.
