I have a 1999 Explorer 4.0 V6 SOHC, and whenever i try to start it in the morning, it starts up sounding rough and shakes violently as if it were gonna fall apart if i let rpms fall below 1000. Sometimes when i first start it up it will shutoff. I have been told that it cold be a bad cold start censor or idle sensor. Please help me out here.

Welcome to this forum! I would suggest that you check the idle air control valve.
