The "rubbing sound" could be front wheel bearings. If you are feeling the vibration through the steering wheel, that could also be the bearings, particularly if you feel it more when turning left or right than when going straight ahead. If the steering wheel is shaking, and it speeds up and slows down with the speed of the truck, that could be wheels out of balance.

In 4x4 it will buck and shake if you are on dry pavement. Don't use 4x4 on dry pavement, it is extremely hard on your driveline.

Brown wire mod allows you to switch between "4x4 Auto" and true "2WD" without automatic 4x4 engagement.

brown wire mod

Brown wire mod allows you to switch between "4x4 Auto" and true "2WD" without automatic 4x4 engagement.

can a dealership do this process or is it something i could do?

I highly doubt this is something you will get a dealership to do.

Read this thread.

the clicking sound could be your emergency brake pads. They are known to break or shatter and move around making a clicking sound.
