Hello everyone,
Obviously I'm new to the site but I am a long time reader.
I am currently in the market to replace my ranger/b4000 with a 2007+ explorer.
I did purchase one recently (2008 explorer limited 4.6L) but was told the engine was worn out as it had an engine knock noise almost every time it stopped or idled. It honestly sounded identical to a Diesel engine.
I am to the point now of saying screw it and getting something else but I am hoping someone can persuade me to keep on this path of exploration.
